From Our CEO: My Hair Story

People have asked me what led me to this business. While a college student at USC, I worked part-time as an actress and model. Hair extensions are one way models and actresses protect their own hair from constant manipulation from stylists on set.

Not all hair extensions are created equal, and I soon invested, and fell in love with, top quality virgin Remy and raw Indian Temple hair. After graduation, I wore my own shoulder length, curly/wavy hair straightened (relaxed) for work…..until one day, a relaxer damaged my hair. I experienced hair loss and severe breakage. I was beyond shocked and horrified, since, as a Banking and Finance manager, I worked with clients every day.

Remembering my modeling days, I once again used luxury hair extensions while my hair regrew. The effect was completely natural and my confidence was instantly restored! I was back to my old self and signing new clients at work in no time!

Entrepreneurship was a dream of mine since I was about 12, and I explored several opportunities over the years. In every venture, I always sought to add value to the lives of others, because knowing that I helped them in their personal goals was what felt most rewarding to me.

I recalled how diminished and self-conscious I felt when my hair got damaged. I didn’t look, feel, or act like myself. I couldn’t focus because I was distracted with feeling like I was being negatively scrutinized. Everyone wants to look their best, and I knew that I didn’t. To know that it was temporary didn’t help.

Wearing luxury hair extensions during that time helped me reconnect with my personal power, because I knew that my inner talents and abilities were positively reflected by my outward appearance…an image that once again looked like me and allowed me to forget that my hair had ever been chemically damaged. Once more, I moved through my life with purpose and poise, because I wasn’t worried about how I looked. I broke sales records at work, won awards and got promotions—- all because I felt ready to BE SEEN!

Of course, I had experienced success before…many times, in fact! But my hair loss made me want to run away and hide until it grew back. I was a corporate executive, wife, and mother of two by now, and that was NOT an option. I had to keep it moving, and luxury hair extensions made that possible!

Can luxury hair change the world? That’s debatable. What I DO know is that every person alive has the power to change the world when they feel good about themselves, feel passion towards their ideals and dreams, and have confidence that they are presenting their best self every day! That is the difference great hair and a great appearance can make.

My goal and mission for VIP Celebrity Virgin Hair is to always strive to provide luxury quality beauty products that allow my clients (our VIPs aka “Very Important Patrons”) to show up in the world as the Queens that they are: radiating confidence and elegance as they feel empowered to fulfill their goals and live their best lives with purpose and impact!

I don’t love this hair because I sell it….I sell this hair because I LOVE it! If you’ve ever tried it, then you KNOW what I’m talking about!
